Movement assessment for baseball
In this specialized session, Coach Joey Laurer will conduct a comprehensive Movement Assessment based on the OnBaseU Assessment Program. This program is designed to identify key movement deficiencies that could be impacting your performance on the field. This assessment includes 12 exercises specifically selected to evaluate the mobility, stability, and movement patterns crucial for baseball athletes, particularly pitchers.
What to Expect:
Detailed Movement Screening: We will assess your ability to perform essential movement patterns used in baseball, focusing on areas like stride length, trunk rotation, and overall mobility.
Personalized Feedback: After the assessment, we will provide you with a detailed breakdown of your strengths and areas for improvement, allowing us to create a customized plan that targets your specific needs. You will receive a detailed spreadsheet outlining all of this.
Performance Insights: This assessment offers valuable insights into your physical capabilities and helps to develop a more holistic approach to improving your overall performance.

Baseball strength, Mobility Training program
Starting November 11th, Coach Joey Laurer will be running a comprehensive 6-week Winter Training Program designed specifically for baseball players. This program will focus on personalized strength, conditioning, and mobility to get you in peak shape for your January thru March baseball training. This program is recommended for all players.
Program Details:
Personalized Training Plan: Each athlete will receive a tailored strength, conditioning, and mobility program. You’ll have 2 lifting sessions per week at The Sports Barn in our new strength training area under the watchful eye of Coach Laurer. Your strength program will be complemented by daily mobility exercises.
Session Schedule: You’ll train in small groups of 2-4 players, with sessions twice per week for 1 hour. Sessions are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, between 5:00 and 9:00 PM.
Program Duration: (6 weeks), with a total of 12 sessions.
Schedule:
- Monday and Thursday November 11,14,18,21,25, December 2,5,9,12,16,,19,23
or
- Tuesday and Friday November 12,15,19,22,26,29, December 3,6,10,13,17,20
Ages: Choose your group age 12-15 or 15-18
