Increase Your Confidence, Skills and Fun!

We will aim for perfection and along the way, we will hit excellence.

-          Vince Lombardi

“Spring training at Hayner’s has once again been a great experience.  When we ended the week last year we knew we would be back again this year.  Kolbie has expressed how much fun he has had making new friends and learning more about the game.  As a parent I feel confident dropping Kolbie off knowing he is comfortable and safe at your camp.  But the most important aspect of your program for me is the approach taken with all the boys by Norm and Ken and all the other coaches.  Every child is treated equally and encouraged to do their best.  For me the morning talk is just as important as learning the skills needed to be a great player.  Thank you!

- Bonnie Speanburg, Hoosick Valley, NY

“The heights by great men reached and kept

Were not attained by sudden flight,

But they, while their companions slept,

Were toiling upward in the night.”

-          Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“My son received for the first time real lessons in baseball.  The drills were great for him.  Also, thanks to everyone for the positive attitude discussions.”

- Donna Cuva, Clifton Park

Hunger not for success, but for excellence.

“The April Vacation Camp should be two weeks long!”

College Athletics Recruiting Seminar
The Sports Barn will be hosting a free informational seminar on the college recruiting process on Monday December 28 at our facility in Halfmoon. The seminar is open to athletes and parents of all sports and will be conducted by Vince Farfaglia, a former Hayner Academy lessons client and owner of Getmynameout.com. The college recruiting process can be one of the most exciting and stressful times for student athletes and their families. Most athletes and their families enter this process unaware of how, when, and where to begin; how to communicate with college coaches as well as how to handle various situations that arise. It is the goal of the seminar to create a starting point of education and guidance for families and athletes.

While the seminar is free, please reserve your spot by calling The Sports Barn at 664-4537.
