In addition, we believe athletic participation and competition provide the perfect environment to address the importance of sportsmanship, team play, character development and good citizenship. Empowering youth through sports to meet daily life challenges has always been a priority with all Sports Barn/Hayner Academy camps and programs!

2009 Baseball Camps
Full-day and half-day options to fit your busy family schedules!
A Commitment To Learning, Action and Excellence Since 1992
The summer of 2009 marks the 18th year that Hayner Brothers Baseball Academy has been providing baseball instruction and fun to youths in the Capital Region.
Hayner Academy camps nurture a “love of the game” attitude in each child by creating a positive, challenging, and most of all, fun environment! The camps are action oriented, emphasizing the importance of making physical and mental adjustments while establishing a solid foundation in all areas of the game. All individual skill areas and position play, as well as team offense and defense will be covered. Each day concludes with a competitive coach pitch baseball game.
Baseball camps operate Monday – Friday and are open to players from all communities, not just those from partnering leagues. Half-day and full-day options provide both the All-Star and recreation caliber player with tune up and development options to fit busy family schedules.
In addition, each week’s campers will be visited by current players from the Tri-City Valley Cats Class A minor league baseball team for discussion, autographs and pictures.
